Gourmet Italian foods are the star attraction at Joseph’s Classic Market, a chain of three specialty stores in South Florida. Click here to read the story.Aside from a selection of specialty items and wines, Joseph’s Classic Market focuses almost exclusively on fresh foods: produce, meat and seafood, prepared foods and bakery items.On an island at the center of the store, the prepared food department is sure to catch every customer’s attention.Customers can select from a full menu of chef-prepared Italian classics, ranging from lasagna to Zuppa Di Pesce made with locally sourced seafood.
Owner Joseph Acierno’s father operated a butcher shop in New York when he was growing up, and the extensive, full-service meat counters are a point of pride at Joseph’s Classic Market.Specialty sausages and ready-to-grill kabobs are always on the menu.The bakery department features authentic New York-style cheesecake and rugelach, as well as prosciutto bread and eggplant bread.
